In addition to Fish Ponds Socfin Agricultural Company provides for Communities in the interior of the Chiefdom, It also provides Fishing Gears to the Reverine Communities. The aim of this is to increase protein intake as well as to generate income for the entire Communities in Malen Chiefdom.

Twenty Fishermen from Hongai, Gangama, Massao and Kortumahun have received one hundred and thirty five bundles of Fishing Nets including accessories in the presence of the Chiefs and other stakeholders in the Chiefdom.
