Policy

Our philosophy is to continually make progress to protect the natural environment of our plantations, ensuring respect of human rights and improve rural living conditions in the regions where we operate. This continuous improvement is driven by innovative and transformative practices that create value for all, our local field employees, our smallholders and the communities.

We have therefore formalized a sustainable development strategy with ambitious commitments and developed a charter called “responsible management policy”.

A responsible management policy guaranteeing the respect of our commitments and values through concrete actions

This policy was developed in collaboration with the Earthworm Foundation (EF) and GPSNR, as well as involving many other internal and external stakeholders. It aims to define a course of action and the implementation of concrete actions, realizing our strategy and our ambitious commitments to sustainable development in the field.

Created in 2017, reviewed in 2022 and approved by our Board of Directors in March 2022, our policy specifies our approach in our three impact areas: rural and local development, improving the living conditions of our employees and communities, and natural resource management.

Through this exchange of expertise with various stakeholders, we have been able to strengthen and align our policy with the elements of the GPSNR policy, which includes 12 sustainability principles. GPSNR’s mission is to lead the improvement of the socio-economic and environmental performance of the natural rubber value chain.

Our responsible management policy is applied to all our plantations but also to our subcontractors and suppliers.
